About
Aengus is a classical guitarist based in Cork City, Ireland.
Aengus has a musical education up to MA level, and 12+ years of performance experience in a range of settings - including venues such as the RDS, NCH, and festivals such as Clonakilty Guitar and Cork Jazz.
He has toured nationally with the Irish Guitar Quartet, recently recorded an Irish Traditional album - 'Throwing Time' with fiddle player Alan Coakley - and currently plays with upcoming Jazz act The Lounge Bros.
Aengus has a range of musical abilities to create the right atmosphere for your occasion.

For ceremonies, I play a mix of classical and fingerstyle versions of popular songs. Recent examples might be:

... However I can arrange any song for classical guitar, so if there is something special that you'd like to hear on the day just let me know!
For receptions, I can do a full set of romantic Spanish & South American music along with some light Jazz, for a slightly sophisticated ambience.
I can also do a full set of songs from the 60's to present day including music by The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, right up to George Ezra and Mumford & Sons.
